Wedding Flowers By Catkin Blooms

These looked vibrant and beautiful with 'Cool water' and 'Skyline' roses, unusual Leucospermum, Clematis buds, Veronica, Alliums, Astrantia and Scabious seed heads with tree fern foliage to give a beautiful soft and fuzzy texture.  Kane and his bestmen had orange 'Cosima' rose buttonholes and Amber's mum and nan had beautiful 'Amazing lady' rose bud corsages.

They were married underneath the 'toot' structure in the formal gardens and had two statuesque floral arrangements with large purple alliums and bright orange Calendulas to make a big impact and long green Amaranthus draping down.  A beautiful and fun wedding to do!

Littleham Village Church

Emily & Ian were married at Littleham Village Church, followed by a woodland reception in a world inspired tipi in their own grounds.

An amazing woodland inspired and glamorous wedding, which was particularly fun to deliver!

EMILY & IAN

Emily chose pastel colours for her wedding flowers and wanted a natural and woodland feel to complement their setting.  She choose a hand-tied bridal bouquet for herself and hand-tied posies for her bridesmaids with rosebuds for their hair and a basket of flowers for her flower girl. These looked natural and classic in style with soft pink 'Vendela' roses, cream 'Dolomiti' roses, pink 'Lovely Rokoko' spray roses, white soft and fluffy Astilbe, delicate white Chamelaucium (known as Wax flower), pink Veronica, Scabious seed heads and the silver foliage of Eucalyptus Nicholii.

Ian created ten log vases for the tables which looked fantastic and these were filled with matching wedding flowers and foliage.  Emily also chose a 4ft woodland garland to drape along the front edge of the narrow top table.   The gorgeous cake was decorated around the bottom with a woodland circlet of flowers and a matching floral cake topper.

SARAH & ARTHUR

Chawleigh Village Church

Sarah wanted a soft and natural feel to her wedding flowers and wanted some texture within her bouquet to compliment her dusty pink and sage green colour scheme.  She choose a hand-tied bridal bouquet for herself and hand-tied posies for her adult bridesmaids and three bunches of 'Million Star' Gypsophila for her flower girls. The bridal bouquets were beautiful with soft pinks in David Austin 'Keira' rose, 'Lovely Dolomiti' roses and the warmth of 'Pearl Avalanche' roses.

Arthur and the men in the bridal party had 'Artemis' rose buttonholes with Gypsophila and Senecio and Olive leaf foliage, with the mum's having 'Cream Garcia' rose bud cluster corsages one on magnets and one as a wrist corsage.  Sarah & Arthur choosing three beautiful boxed bouquets as thank you's in matching wedding flowers.

ALICE & JOE

Bovey Castle

Alice and Joe were married in the gorgeous surroundings at Bovey Castle so wanted their wedding flowers to complement the grand interior with large and blousey blooms to make a statement.

Alice loved flowers and in particular peonies and roses in pastel shades with grey foliage to match her wedding colour palate. Alice decided on a soft shaped tear drop bouquet for herself, including a throwing bouquet and hand tied posies in matching wedding flowers for her four adult bridesmaids. The mum's and nan's had individual rose bud corsages with a bit of sparkle and Joe and the men in the bridal party had rose buttonholes with Eryngium and foliage garnish.

The Cathedral Room was decorated with a signing table overhanging arrangement and two wrought iron pedestals containing 'Lolly Pop' pink Hydrangeas, mixed roses and white Delphiniums.  The beautifully laid tables had seven tall martini glass vases filled with 'Duchess de Nemo' Peonies, Hydrangeas, mixed large headed and spray Roses, Veronicas, Astilbes, scented Stocks, Eucalyptus and variegated Ivy.

Alice and Joe chose dried rose petal and larkspur confetti for their guests and secretly delivered four thank you bouquets ready for their speeches.

The overall effect of the pastel and blousey wedding flowers was truly sumptuous and breathtaking.

SUE & SHARON

RHS Rosemoor

Getting married in March at the Stone Shelter in RHS Rosemoor gardens surrounded by potted miniature daffodils, Sue & Sharon both wanted a strong Spring time feel to their wedding flowers.

Sue & Sharon had particular flowers in mind that had significant meanings and memories for the both of them with texture in a natural Spring style, they decided on matching bouquets for themselves and a miniature Spring posy for their flower girl.  All 74 guests were generously provided with individual buttonholes in matching scented wedding flowers which looked and smelled amazing!

SUE & SHARON

Sue & Sharon opted for an arrangement for the signing table and two matching hanging displays to decorate the Stone Shelter posts that complemented the existing planting. The wedding flowers included yellow 'Mon Amour' and 'Bright Sun' Tulips and Ginster, white Ranunculus, Larkspur and 'Paper white' Narcissus, blue Agapanthus and Muscari nestled between pussy willow and the heavenly scented Eucalyptus and Rosemary foliages. In the marquee reception the eight table centrepieces were in beautiful wicker baskets with rustic arrangements sitting on old wooden steps and flowers in a vintage watering can.  The beautiful bright colours with the smell of Spring lifted the soul and the marquee
